1)Teagan was very helpful in working with the swim instructor and my son to get him into the water on the first day of class. She also took the initiative to put a note in the file so that any instructors working with my son will be aware of his special needs. She followed up a few weeks later to make sure everything was still okay. I appreciate her follow up, kind and helpful ways.
2) My son has only worked with Coach Ahmed for a few months now but has quickly progressed. Initially, he would not willingly go into the water or put his face in the water. Now, hes more confident about entering the water and is willing to be dunked. Ahmed is very patient and listens to my son. He makes the swim lessons engaging and fun. He challenges my son without pushing him too far that it becomes scary again. Ahmed also keeps me informed of how my son is doing at the end of each lesson. I appreciate his extreme patience, happy, caring, and fun attitude!
3) My son had Miss Chloe as a swim instructor last year and immediately felt comfortable with her even though he was afraid of swimming. She listened to him and was very patient and calm. He was very disappointed when she left for college last year but happy to see her back this year. Although she will not be his instructor this year, its nice to know that shes back.
The front desk people have also been very friendly and helpful!
My biggest complaint is that my oldest was in the swim force and makeup classes are so difficult to come across. So now I have these makeup classes that can’t be made up because they don’t offer it enough times during the week. My son has been in the same class for way too long working the same move. We are ready to unenroll and move on. Initially I signed them both up because they wanted to go back but they quickly realized it wasn’t as fun anymore. Such a bummer.
