My kids attended this school. My kid gets bullied no one cares to do anything about it. They suspend my child off of hear say. Never the less, he gets bullied they turn there head. But a child says he got bullied and you suspend him. Did you happen to think he has had to stick up for him self. The recesses staff are on there phones the whole time. Hello our children need someone making sure the kids are safe. Your phone can wait for your break!! He comes back and still is being punished. The staff and the intendent are the bullies. No respect for the kids. The kids are the liers, won’t let the children talk, cut them off. Really I feel I need to get my kids therapy, and explain to them why that is not how an adult should treat a child. Children need to learn proper manners, but this school is far from helping your child learn and be repectful. Treat as you would like to be treated. This school has no manners. It has gone down hill. They beg for you to promote the school. Because they don’t have enough kid signed up for next year. Well open your eyes!! Fire the intendent he is not a good fit for this school!! If your kid rubs him the wrong way your kid is screwed.!! The school board needs to go in and help get this school back to a good school. Asap!!
We love this school so much. It has been the best thing for my kids. I love their character curriculum. They really do push positive mindset behavior. The curriculum is challenging and I couldn’t believe all the history my 1st grader learned. I love how they build upon concepts each year. They all push the classics in reading which I feel is vary rare with normal public education. We also love the school play. A lot of work goes into that and it amazes me how these teachers believe in these small children. It is quite the production every year. We have been attending for the last 9 years. When my two oldest went to junior high at a normal public school they were advanced in Math and English. In fact their first semester of 7th grade Math, Science, and English was mostly a review from what they learned in 6th grade at Good Foundations. Teachers are so great. The principal Mrs. Erwin is the kindest person!
Was a top notch school for the past 5 yrs. Unfortunately I can’t say that for this year in such a short time. The new staff is ruining this schools reputation. Parents are getting called in because their child skipped a stair while going down the stairs, talking in the halls/at lockers (if not here then where. Better than in the classroom), whispering beneath their breath. Nothing like being talked to by such staff as if you are a child. I have always take. My daughters birthday off and gone to school to have lunch and take treats with her little brother. This yr I was told not to bring him back. I could see if he was out of control or not being watched. I was with him the entire time as well as his sister and 5 friends. What a shame. Glad this is our last yr (If we make it the whole yr). I wouldn’t come back even if it wasn’t!
