The first time my wife and I went to visit the school, I just felt better and better with each room we visited. Finally I realized why: every child at the school was busily engaged: playing with water and sand, reading, drawing, playing happily on the playground. There was not one single child sulking or “checked out,” and not a trace of conflict anywhere. I had never seen such a place.

It has been like that every time. Both our children attended, preschool through fifth grade. In addition to a superb grounding in “the three Rs”, they got something immeasurably more important. They learned what it’s like to live and work in an environment where everyone truly respects each other. They learned to respect others, and to demand respect from others.

When they graduated, we found that middle schools eagerly seek Goshen alumni, because they exert such a positive influence on their peers.

This is our third year at Goshen Friends School, and we absolutely love it. The teachers here are amazing and have been around for a long time. It’s really important to us that our kids are greeted by familiar faces every day.

The school has an incredible outdoor space where the kids can run around and play. The whole campus is natural and open, which is perfect for them to explore and have fun.

Best part is the community. We’ve made so many friends at Goshen Friends – everyone gets along and supports each other. All in all, Goshen Friends has been a great choice for our family, giving our kids a stable and fun place to play, learn and grow.
