The woman who picks up the phone for registration has a TERRIBLE attitude. She sounds like she has no desire to be of assistance through the registration process and she was very rude to me when I came to the school to register her. I don’t know her name, but she is an older woman. She sighed every time I asked her a question, and she rushed me out of the office saying that just because they were open until 5, didn’t mean they were open to the public. I was told by CPS that registration goes on until 5pm at Grassfield, and I re-iterated that to the woman what I was told, and she was still very nasty towards me…extremely unprofessional in every way.
This is the third elementary school my kids have gone to.

– Teachers are awesome.
– My son requires an IEP and has excelled here.

What needs work:
– Communication seems to be minimal. I’m hoping this evolves, but in the past we have always been aware of what is happening each week. Teachers would provide a progress report on the class for the last week and an itinerary for the next.
– No use of email.
– No online resources. I suppose this is a ding on the school system and not the school. Google classroom was mentioned during orientation, but I haven’t seen anything.
