Worst school I have been to, although not all the teachers are bad, the teachers that teach for the older kids( 5th-6th) were the worst teachers I have ever had (I was there from 2010-2013) the worst by far is a teacher i had named Mrs.Martin. Ugh she was so overly emotional about everything and she didn’t have an ability to teach me properly unlike Rockyrun which I now go to. There were no bullies there, if anything the teachers are the bullies. !STORY TIME!- I was walking in the hallway and Mrs. O Meally (yes I’m naming names) was yelling at a 1st grader and she was crying in the process then when I passed by Mrs. O Meally, she screamed at her to “BE QUIET AND STOP CRYING”side note: those were her exact words. It only gets worse but instead of going on I am just informing you the personal experiences I had in that horrible school. The moral of this review is that, if you parents can, please, please, PLEASE make your kid go somewhere else (Greenbriar West is nice), because i will never get those years back.
Great experience! Great neighborhood school. Serves a small area with local pros and cons. When living in a small community, everyone knows everyone, so that’s good and bad. The staff does a great job dealing with parents of all beliefs and levels of involvement.
One of the premier school pyramids (Greenbriar East Elementary, Rocky Run Middle, Chantilly High). The greenbriar neighborhood is fantastic for families.
