Students are able to constantly turn pa person in late and retake tests. My son had a 33 average in Spanish most of a semester then magically pulled it up at the last second. He also had over 60 0’s for late work etc. He was able to make it up and passed the year with a 3.85 GPA. Does NOT teach them skills for the real world. Why should my son be able to earn the same grades as someone who is doing it the right way? On 3 different occasions I spoke to his advisor who was NO help at all and thought everything was just fine. Sadly, I have no control over his grades, he went to live with his Dad because he was going to be grounded for performance at school.
Although there have been many changes the last couple of years with the staff I am pleased with the overall education my children are receiving.
The bonus of being able to receive college credits while in high school for those interested and capable is wonderful!
