Ground Up Training and Talent Solutions (GUTTS) offers a one-of-a-kind model for pre-apprenticeship training in plumbing, HVAC and other trades. As a small business owner in Washington, DC, I’ve found it so hard to find entry-level talent that wants to grow with my company, and in the past, it’s been stressful to spend a lot of money and time training someone, only to see them leave. Graduates of the GUTTS program are motivated and come in with the skills to contribute. Best of all, GUTTS has connections with federal and Virginia employment programs that enable employers to receive grants for hiring youth, veterans, etc. So the investment pays for itself. I highly recommend! 🙂
