I have not only been picking up my grandchildren from there since 1998, actually 1985 until now (27 years) as my own 3 children also went there and I also worked there for a few years. Today was the first bad experience i have ever had there-I was trying to get to the parking lot to park. the line was past it, so i did what i have been doing since 1998-i got in the left lane as did the vehicle in front of me, in order to get into the parking lot. If any cars were coming out I would pull over as usual. The principal actually yelled at me as i tried to apologize for i dont even know what at this point. I have never in all these years at this school ever been talked to like this! Im sure im not the only one this has happened to, but even on a bad day this was not appropriate especially for a school principal. The years of Catherine Kitto are long gone and never did i ever hear her as much as raise her voice much less treat anyone so badly even under the worst of conditions. I just hope this is not the way she treats the children at Gulf Gate just because they may not understand something. I guess I should apologize for not being perfect. I did not know that this principal is. I used to have a lot of respect for this school, but funny how something like this can bring it down to a 0. Now i understand why the majority favor Phillippi Shores over Gulf Gate. I might add that she told me i would have to park and then get the children-what did she think i was trying to do!

A very caring school 90% of the teachers are the best you’ll ever encounter. The principal, Mrs Magac is the sweetest, and really knows what she’s doing.

Very good school, the stuff are amazing, the principal is a lovely person, my daughter loves this school!
