There is nothing you can find here that you can’t find a better version of across the street at BHS. There just isn’t enough space in the building to provide the facilities required for any extracurriculars. Space is also a problem when it comes to classrooms. Haas Hall offers extremely limited course options — there is little to no variety in the classes they offer compared to what you can find at any other public school. This school markets themselves as being academically superior to other schools, but the truth is that it is ranked so highly because there is so much pressure on the student body to study for and take standardized tests. BHS offers programs with equivalent and even higher academic rigor, for example you have the option of taking all AP classes or joining the IB program. Not only does Haas Hall not offer IB, but the course schedule is so limited that you wouldn’t even be able to take all AP classes and fulfill your graduation requirements. I spent all four years of high school here, graduated in 2019 with high honors, and was very unhappy the whole time. I had a negative experience overall, and would have gotten into the same colleges had I gone to another public high school. I feel like I missed out on so many opportunities as a result of the lack of options this school provided. The only good thing about my experience here was about half of the teachers I had. I would not recommend for anyone to send their kids to school here — I certainly would not send mine.

TLDR

You can find a better version of all the things this school markets itself as across the street at BHS. Very limited courses, limited people, and limited resources.

The food was wonderful and the people are even better. My only complaint is about the small children who seem to be running around very often; it so very much confused me. Overall a great place that I will recommend to other family and friends :D!
Service was great, My family had a really nice waiter named samantha. The food came just in time, and the steak came perfectly medium rare!
