I attended Hacienda Heights Chinese School’s after school and summer programs since I was in pre-school for about 10 years (1993-2003). I absolutely loved my experience there, especially learning how to read, speak and write Chinese, using my creative side during art classes, going to swimming classes and field trips during the summer. While I haven’t kept up reading and writing Mandarin, I try to still continue to speak it and always seem to impress people when visiting Taiwan. I can’t thank the wonderful teachers enough for this essential skill. Highly recommended!
