My name is Adan Centeno, I completed my course today. I wanted to write Ms. Antunez a nice review because she deserves to be acknowledged for the hard work she puts in into teaching not 1 nor 2 but 3 levels. She is a very patient and makes sure to be clear when answering our questions. Ms. Antunez deserves to be awarded for handling a class full of men/boys because its simply not so easy. As a student i can see the headaches she has dealt with but the love she carries for the passion of barbering is what keeps her going . I hope she can have her own room or area someday i believe it be for the best and for the barbers . Ms. Antunez you rock #2023ClassPresident!

If you are looking for a barber program with a great atmosphere and an instructor thats licensed in barbering, cosmetology and that will teach you new things everyday,look no further this is the place for you. I recently finished my program with Ms. Antunez and to say the least I am now a licensed barber. I 100% recommend this program the knowledge shared by her is outstanding, from her experience in the field to making sure we stepped out of our comfort zone to learn and be great barbers that do it all from shaving to cutting and styling women hair. It was a super fun experience. Ms. Antunez is one of the major reasons why I will be sending friends and family to HLPAE.
I started the Barber program back in August 2022, and came in without experience. Miss Antunez has been a great instructor for my classmates and I. Her devotion to help us succeed is reflected everyday with her lessons and advices on how to succeed in this industry. Miss Antunez takes care of all 3 levels of the barbering program and even then she has time to assist us when in need of help.
I recommend this program to anyone, for Miss. Is a great instructor and eventough this course is 1,000hrs long she finds a way to keep us engaged and makes the classroom environment fun.
