I have been to 3 high schools, this one outshines both Garfield & Wallington. Garfield is a prison, not hard to be better than, but Wallington was a great school. Hackensack High is the only one where I can say that I saw a majority of teachers caring about the students. The ones I interacted with most ran after school activities like math & chess club. My science teacher Mr. Delvechio was passionate & genuinely excited about projects. woodshop taught real life skills. The best part of this school is that it, unlike most others, can be used as a resource to truly better yourself through personal development, pursuit of knowledge, & positive social interaction. Thank you Hackensack High.
Public School kid in Hackensack since Pre-K. I learned from the diversity of my town. Doing well for myself as is my family. The top notch education is there if you just apply yourself – from there the teachers guide you to do your best. Wouldn’t trade my HS experience for any other. Thank you HHS.
