this school sucks. I’ve been bullied, yelled at by teachers for nothing, accused wrongly for nothing. It’s not hale its hell. NOT TO METION THE FACT THEY HIRED SOMEONE WHO DIDNT EVEN GRADUATE HIGH SCHOOL!!!!
Also be warned about the 8th grade history teacher. He has harassed students grades, and doesn’t care!! He also messed with students grades so they could not make the honor roll. He is constantly comparing his regular classes to his honors. He gets enjoyment in failing kids. The school has not taken any action with him. If you had put two classes together, half would not graduate because of how hard his assignments are. He also gives you a final, and doesn’t care what you get!! He seriously sucks!! Once your kid is put on his class, trust me you’ll know who it is, TAKE THEM OUT ASAP PLEASE!!!! He seriously is so lazy to. Students ask him to check assignments and he refuses so your grade remains low!! Hale staff if you see this you know who I am talking about please do something.
Currently going here, pretty good school. Never seen really any bullying or vaping? Which a lot of people say are a problem, don’t know why. I’m not even a small target for bullies, easy to make fun of my appearance but I’ve never been bullied. Only problems so far are with teachers, Miss Pollak and Ms Kelly. Miss Pollak gives anyone a warning if they so much as whisper one word, like one time I was helping my partner SILENTLY and she gave me a warning and another time I wasn’t even talking and she gave me a warning, she also gives weekend homework, which is easy but still a pain in the neck. With Miss Kelly it’s just that her style of teaching math is very complex for me. The health teacher Mr Kelly is probably the best teacher I’ve ever had, actually funny, nice, and he has a great teaching style, wish I still had him instead of switching to Miss Pollaks class
I’m in seventh grade here and I mean,,, it’s not as bad as the other reviews make it out to be. I haven’t heard of any recent drug use here, other than juuls. Honestly, the worst thing about this place is the kids who act a lot older than they actually are, and the teachers who expect everyone to be smarter than they actually are. One huge problem, however, is the growing number of drama accounts on instagram. They post really demeaning things about other kids, and start rumors and drama about eachother. Most are anonymous, so you have no way of actually knowing who they are. But anyway, Mr. Singh, Ms. Seligson, Mr. Rhodes, and Mr. Muniz are the best teachers I’ve had so far. If you send your child to this school, it’ll be both the best and worst experience they’ll ever have.
Sincerely, a student who has put up with way too much stuff.
