My daughter is 5 years old she’s level 2 autism she has an IEP and she has a one-on-one in school with her she was going to Forrest elementary School in Hampton Virginia she had a bad injury that happened on January 5th her one-on-one
(Karen Holmes) Put a lumbar back support pillow for an adult’s chair on my baby’s chair my baby face plant the floor shifting her two front teeth we had to have her teeth pulled this happened in
(Kristi Gray) Classroom January 11th my daughter had a silent seizure on January 17th my daughter had a full convulsive seizure and her car seat riding in the car with her grandmother once we start digging and taking it more serious the more they tried to cover it up the principal (Sara Meier) of Forest elementary School did not want to give us the incident report…the nurse of Forrest elementary School did not do a assessment on my daughter so we don’t know if she had a concussion or not they transferred my baby so fast true indeed we asked for the transfer cause we felt like if yall cant keep her safe from falling how yall gonna keep her safe now that she’s diagnosed with seizures (Anthony Perry) told me it was a administrative transfer we’re not stupid a parent would have to fight for a administrative transfer
They transferred her cause they we’re the cause of her fall and the superintendent (Dr. Raymond Hanes) refused every meeting we requested
FORREST ELEMENTARY SCHOOL IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MY DAUGHTER FALL
HR Department is awful. Set up a meeting with their recruiter with interest in teaching in the district, she no called no showed the meeting. No call, no email, no one else from the office to follow up, nothing. When I finally did get someone on the phone it was like she was brushing it off and it was okay and no less laughed in my face when I said the situation wasn’t making any sense. When the recruiter did call me back she interrupted me the entire time and acted as if it was not her fault I no longer had interest in speaking with her to move forward.
Left a bad taste in my mouth for working for this area. With there being a teacher shortage I wouldn’t think it would be wise to no call no show meetings for people with interest.
Have you seen how teachers dress now…. So who is enforcing the teachers dress codes because when we have teachers in mini dresses bending over low cut tops how is this not distracting for learning….remember when my teacher dressed like she went to church but now I feel like the side job is stripping or looking for attention from little boys dressing in clothes these teachers got on…..Would think they would dress like lawyers and look like a professional place of learning! Hampton schools are ghetto ??
