I finished at this school last year, I did really enjoy this school and it is quite a good school but one thing I would say, they need to deal with bullying better, I was bullied for straight two years by the Same people making me upset and depressed a lot of the time even at the young ages. most of the staff are really nice people but some of them are stuck up and rude.
I have to agree with the others about the bullying problem. My niece was removed from the school because of it. The school does NOTHING about it and just palm the parents off with the BS that something will be done, but when in fact nothing changes. Ofsted need to step in with this school in my opinion, with so many children now being affected with depression, bullying will make things so much worse and with a school who take no action against kids that do bully is shameful. I would never recommend this school to anybody. There’s plenty of more schools better than this and who have a zero nonsense policy against bullying.
School has a major bullying problem. I witnessed 2 girls who are in year 6 kicking and verbally abusing another child from the school, the words they were using were absolutely vulgar and I wouldn’t even expect those words to be used by adults! I wrote an email to the school over 3 months ago now and didn’t even receive a reply. They do not seem to care about the bullying that goes on, it’s almost like because the kids are in year 6 they won’t deal with it because they know they’ll be leaving to go on to secondary school, in my opinion it SHOULD be dealt with as you are setting the foundations for these kids to not do that later on in life! I have heard many of the mums complaining about the same particular child and have been for a number of years now but it seems they reward this child for bad behaviour… I’ve also witnessed the mother on several occasions screaming and shouting at other parents and using vile language which is disgusting, and claiming it’s her daughter who is being bullied and she’s been claiming that since the kid started! She’s an older woman too and has absolutely no class about her so it’s no wonder her daughter is the same. I agree with the other reviews regarding bullying, something more needs to be done as there is no policy against this sort of disgusting behaviour! I suggest never sending your children to this school, if you are a parent at this school then I suggest you tell the head teacher to take a look at these reviews as they are not for nothing!
This school is very mixed… You have parents there who are very up themselves and very snobby, and on the flip side you have the very common parents who can’t string a sentence together without using an expletive. Its funny how since all the bad reviews, 3 “good” reviews appear in the space of a day? Very suspicious. I’m siding with the reviews on the bullying situation, my daughter has been having a few problems for at least 2 months now and the situation seems to be getting worse and nowhere near to being resolved. I’ve been told numerous times I’ll be contacted to keep me up to date on the situation but never have been, I’m not even asked by any teachers how the situation is going, there is no due care there whatsoever! I will be pulling my children out of this school once this year is over with as they are very incompetent. They seem to only want to deal with the parents who seem to have money, I guess because they’re able to contribute financially towards the school. I have raised concerns with ofsted and know a few other parents who are too.
My child has had numerous occasions were bullying has been a problem. The head teacher Jack is not approachable; unless you are middle to high class he is not interested in anything that you have to say. On many occasions i have been responded to in a dismissive manner and ignored in favour of one of the celebrity mum’s or parent governors. Jack has dismissed my concerns as a parent and is more interested in league tables and ofstead reports than his pupils or their welfare. Some teachers are also intent on making some children feel bad about themselves.

This is a school to avoid if I had to choose a primary school again it would not be this one. Before you consider this school for your child please endeavor to speak to a variety of parents of children at the school to give yourself a full picture of what you are letting yourself and indeed your child in for.
