2016 Wow what a year this has been for my son. He left fourth-grade very disappointed and depressed after Ms.Hurt’s 4th class!!Ms.Hurt discourage him to the point of depression. After the doctors recommendation my son had to be homeschooled the rest of his Fourth grade. He enter the fifth grade with new teachers .Wow Wow !!! What a difference a great teacher makes !! My son enter the fifth grade with very low self-esteem and very low grades!!! His 5th Grade teacher Mrs.Albrecht never gave up on him !!!!!!The best teacher by far my son has ever had !!!!!100% recommend this teacher for your child!!! She not only gave my son the ability to believe again and himself but better my son passed the math & reading star test !!!!! Can’t explain how grateful I am to be able to have a Great teacher and my sons side!!!My son has not once express any depression in his 5th grade year !!!! I tell this story for the parents that lose hope in the school and teachers !! There are teachers that just can’t see what a bully they are. To the point of pushing your child to depression!!! But there are also those Great teachers that love to teach, inspire confidence, hunger for success and strive to teach our children to believe in them selfs !!!!To Mrs. Albrecht I thank you for everything you do for your students!! Mrs.Albrecht you have been a great blessing in our lives!!!!!

Too much focus on the testing and perfection and not on instilling a love of learning in children…in KINDERGARTEN. My daughter grew to hate learning and school because it was the stress level of high school with the academic pressures and expectations and behavioral expectations of a teenager instead of a normal 5 year old. We withdrew her from the school at the end of January of her school year to hopefully save her from a permanent lifelong hatred of school and learning. We moved to Cibolo Green Elementary across 281 and couldn’t be happier. She loves learning again and is growing in leaps and bounds.
