I dont know who the new Deen is. But this year I have been called while at work, and yelled at for a walking pass that needed to be turned in. It was given to me the night prior but left in the kitchen after I filled it out.

My daughter has been threatened by a staff member to have her locker door slammed on her during rotating to gym, having prior permission to grab water from the locker before class.

Then my daughter had a fb conversation that was screenshot and sent to me. She was addressing her concerns about the student code of conduct about hair. The person who responded to her reacted with a laugh and said they’ll get back to her. I was sent the screenshot I read the message. NOTHING was out of line. She asked how is red tips out of dress code. The book states no “extreme” hair color. First they Violate her freedom of speech by throwing her under the bus with those screenshot. When they called me 2 weeks ago stating they noticed her red tips, they didn’t mention the fb conversation. They should have addressed her concerns as it is part of their job that all parties are able to clearly understand the code of conduct. “Extreme” does confuse my kid. Laughing at her and telling her they will get back to her, then sending me a screenshot was not appropriate at all.

The school can’t seem to keep staffed. They have changed staff several times in the past few years. With that, they keep changing the academic system. My child should be in algebra 1. Do to the academic changes done by the assistant principal, my child is being prevented from advanced placement.

Students schedule should have been based on or included, what a child has already taken, then placed in the next appropriate class. My child feels like her class moves too slow, she is bored and wants to be challenged with new curriculum.

The only response I received to my complaint and concerns is “I understand, I am a parent too”.

Any child who works hard to move on to the next level of curriculum, should NOT be held back just because an assistant principal (who has no clue what he is doing) decided to change how scheduling should be done.

Harmany Science – Odessa is completely unorganized, under staffed, and have no knowledge on how to run the school. This school is a circus at this point.

Assistant principal, you have no business taking on the assistant principal role. You could not successfully teach math class. Your students were failing your class. Now you are failing at your current position. You have a negative affect on the students at your campus, sir.

I really love the school,The teachers do their best,The students do their best, Harmony is where you meet your second family….nice kids….nice teachers…The staph is so amazing.The subjects here challenge the students so that the will learn,the teachers make it fun for the students in all types of ways.So in conclusion Harmony is a place where you would want your children to learn at.
