My children have been attending Harper going for three years and we have had an incredible experience. The administration, teachers, and staff are all wonderful and caring. They have been supportive of outside therapies coming in to support my son’s additional needs. My daughter was more than prepared to start kindergarten after attending. Both of my children have excelled there and grown in such special and unique ways. Harper has made me feel like my children’s safety is the utmost importance. Both of my children love going to school, before & after care, and summer camp. We have never had any complaints. The teachers really care for the whole child and their emotional well-being.

Some specific examples of the things that I love about Harper:
– The teachers are always willing to go the extra mile to help my children succeed and feel part of a community.
– Harper has been flexible and accommodating. They were happy to work with us to create a schedule that worked for our family.
– The relationships I have formed there (as a parent) with teachers have really helped us guide decisions for my kids.
– The teachers really love my kids, and my kids love them. This has been so important to us since they spend so much of their days there.

Cons: I can’t think of any!

Overall, I am incredibly happy with our experience at Harper and feel so grateful to have found this amazing school and community. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great school.

I was excited for my son to go to this school and in the beginning I liked it. Small class size, lots of chances for 1 on 1 work with the student and teacher.

However, they WILL find something “wrong” with your child and suggest outside testing to be done, tell you they need language therapy or occupational therapy, when your child is just fine. They will also go as far as to agree with outside “specialists” that your child is definitely AUTISTIC. It’s totally insane.
It’s very obvious that they and outside “therapists” have their hands in each other’s pockets money wise.

I’m happy to say that my son is no longer in that school and is excelling in the school he’s in now without anyone making any false claims about his behaviour, his abilities or anything else. And he’s still the same kid he was when he went to Harper.

This school unfortunately does not care about hurting a child’s educational future, or hurting the parents of the child with false claims.

I can’t say enough good things about Harper School! My son, now 3, has been there for nearly a year, and we have been so happy with the experience. The teachers and administrators have created a warm, supportive community and my son has thrived there. Harper gets the big things right–it’s a nurturing, inclusive, safe environment with excellent teachers and staff–but they get the little things right, too: drop-off and pick-up are easy, the administrators are flexible and responsive, and everything you need to know is clearly communicated (without a deluge of emails). We are so grateful to have found Harper School.
