Education wise not the greatest they don’t push you enough, there aren’t enough competitions that you can take part in eg Junior Maths challenge etc vs other schools
I would say that their mentality is more based on progress than high achievement, which isn’t a bad thing, but more often than not, you won’t see many high level students, as compared with other schools in Stoke eg St Thomas Aquinas or St Teresas
If you are a good student and you ask for more harder stuff cause you’ve completed the task, they’ll usually give you something of the same level you’ve done before instead of giving you a harder challenge, while they wait for everyone else to catch up.
Revision is also not great, they don’t have effective revision methods as most the time the homework is usually ‘create a poster’ or something along those lines, nothing really all that challenging.
However, they do teach you basics really well, eg Word use, how to write a document etc
The school is amazing, amazing teachers, great teaching and just a lovely school in general!! 🙂 From one of your students
Horrible experience. The headmaster is a very poor example of someone who should be in the post. You need to have a lot more qualities be able to set a good example to the children.
I used to go to that school in 2011 remember me ?
Its is a really good school
