i attend this school and i’m very disappointed for one the food is very dry and made in the morning .They took down the doors of our toilets leaving us with no privacy. There was many rat invasions in the school over the past year . The toilets flooding with human waste(pee) to human poo on the celling of the lady’s room. The teachers don’t care about the students only about the pay checks apart from ms Withers (such an amazing human head of rs) . The principle left the school for multiple months without saying anything as if we’re not apart of the community. Teachers do not help the students when help is needed we are not taken serious . Before the new principle mr foley came to power the school was a nice safe environment and students felt comfortable . People of colour are not allowed to a change their hair colour how ever when a caucasian students have no problem. My person mental health has not been the same since the change of stuff and change of principle. I have complained multiple times and all i have received as a response is ” don’t worry we will deal with it” and no one has done anything . I feel like if i have joined the army it wouldn’t be as bad .

An example of our daily food

My daughter returned to school yesterday at 9am, to be told she’s late and will receive a 20 minute detention. When the letter sent home clearly states 9am start on the 8/03/21.
Then today 9/03/21, she was sent home for not having her blazer on, bare in mind she had on school uniform, ie jumper ,tie and school bag.
my question is – what has the blazer got to do with her actual learning,
Considering the children have been off for months this is totally unacceptable
Mr Foley I think you need to do some form of training regarding young people that live in an urban area such as Tottenham, because with the attitude that you’ve got, you may find not many people will want to send they children to your school. When Mr Howles was acting as head teacher is was a much better place. The teachers appeared to have more empathy and were more approachable.
I am sick of this School, and have been for a while.
if I wanted my daughter to be a cadet, I would of sent her to the army.
Terrible school horrible environment from flooding to the toilets gushing out smell of human waste (urine, poo) around the school to ice freezing in the canteen!
Strongly advise you to go to a different school in the borough would be much better wasting time at harris. Basically a military camp. Some teachers feel like they have the right to grab students aggressively

If you ain’t a favourite your not cared about and won’t receive other opportunities as them mostly bad behavioured students get luxury

My daughter attends this school and on her first day she was quite excited and thought it was a good school. She is now in year 10 (15 years old) and her opinion about the school has changed drastically.

My daughter has come to me numerous times saying how the teachers are bias towards certain students and how they have favourites, because of this she feels as if she has to keep many problems to herself because she doesn’t know which teachers to turn to.
In the past she has consulted teachers about her problems and they either: didn’t take her seriously; said they was going to do something about the situation and didn’t; twisted the story to make it seem like she was the one in the wrong; and more.

Hearing things like this honestly makes me sick to my stomach. A key element to a teachers job is to make sure that the children that attend the school feel protected and heard and many of the teachers fail to do this.

If this favouritism continues I’m going to issue further complaints because I’m honestly sick and tired.

It’s a outstandingly excellent school. It is located in the London Borough Haringey, is on the district of tottenham. It is an all – throughout school and I hope many people will join as it has high expectations and well – experienced teachers and staff.
