This school has significant room for improvement when it comes to addressing student behavior and communication. Unfortunately, they seem to struggle with effective behavior management strategies, often resorting to issuing detentions without prior warning or clear guidance. Moreover, the school’s ability to provide a safe and nurturing environment for children is a concern. There is a need for better communication and support systems to ensure the well-being of both students and parents. Overall, this school needs to prioritize improving its behavior management policies and enhancing its care for the students to create a more positive learning environment. I’ve also noted how all the bad reviews have been removed. Unprofessional.people are entitled to their own opinion
We already have our two daughters in the school who are now in year 8, since their return to school and joining in the the Harrison Lowe Academy We have already seen a change in their approach to schooling is extremely positive they have said they feel a lot more confident approaching their LA teachers and a find all the staff more approachable if they were to have issues regardless of the issues.
I would like to say the approach this time compared to two years ago seems more structured and a lot more opportunities for all year groups. The S.T.A.R.T programme was well explained to parents and when you see it in practice it was visible throughout the school. We are looking forward to supporting the school as it thrives.
Keep up the good work.
i’m a year 11 at harris lowe. compared to how the school was before, there have been great adjustments to it. the food for example is much better and of higher quality. unlike before, i find myself eating lunch everyday. furthermore, the behaviour and how teachers deal with it has greatly improved! the school provides help and aid for all students. i would recommend harris to people looking for a school with high expectations for their kids and a welcoming community for people of all cultures.
Teachers Are Giving Detentions Like it would be Nothing it will not Change the student in better just in the wors because they dont want to go To school That Punish Them all the time witn Detentions, I Hope. This School under new Name will Change alot.
