Harristown is a great school my child goes here and he loves science and they have great opportunities for kidstake my advice and have it child stick with his friends and most people don’t bully
okay so I currently go here it’s 2023 of course, I see kids getting jumped bullied, I get bullied myself by a few kids for being transgender, some people do accept me some don’t, when I enrolled in the school I put my name in the preferred name thing and when I got there in term 3 my preferred name wasn’t even shown to anyone, all the teachers were calling me by me deadname for 2 weeks, I told all my teachers about me being a boy and asked them to call me anthony most did but some were confused about it and shook it off, one teacher I told her about the name problem and she actually fixed it and now people call me anthony, the 3rd week of school some kid in my class tried to fight me 3RD WEEK of me being at the school:/, I didn’t fight back, I even have a video of it happening, that girl told me to kill myself and to cut my wrists, I’m a child a god damn child, I always see people fighting and arguing, I see kids ditching classes, I’ve seen kids jumping over the fence and running, I’ve seen people getting threatened,I’ve been threatened hit and basically abused there by other students, I see people vaping and smoking so much to the point where I’ve never gone into the toilets at this school not even 1 time, I don’t recommend this school at all, it’s not safe for anyone really, there’s so many fake people there people doing drugs smoking vaping bashing people, if you go to this school please hang out with the right crowd don’t get into fights and drama it’s not going to end well for you. Parents please don’t send your kids there it’s unsafe.
its really just astonishing to realise a murderer went to this school. my heart goes out to all the victims
It’s a great school. Met some of the best teachers I know here. Awesome opportunity for both the arts and sport. Really good inclusion classes for people with special needs. Classes for those who don’t speak english as their language. Sure there are some bad kids but it’s pretty rare from my experience
