I absolutely love Hebron Montessori. My twins started here after a bad experience at a school that was shut down. One of my twins was potty trained at 2 years which is amazing! The teachers are very good at following the child’s lead while also challenging them. My other son wasn’t fully potty trained until 3 years old, which is just how his body developed. We had to leave HMS during COVID because I was working from home and couldn’t do the 30 minutes commute 4 times a day. They went to 2 different Montessori schools during that time and my kids were so different. They didn’t enjoy going to school and cried at drop off (this NEVER happens at HMS). At one school, I was getting daily calls from the Director complaining about one of my sons and eventually she kicked him out of the school. That was honestly the best thing she could have done because I put them back in HMS and it’s like night and day. My son, who the other director said probably has ADHD and needs therapy, is now thriving. He’s talking more at home and really expressing himself. He does work at school and has friends. He seems like a whole new kid now that he is getting the support he needs at school. Also, they have an AMAZING outside area with a chicken coup (the kids get to pick eggs), large garden area (that the kids maintain), 2 playgrounds and artificial grass. One of my sons has awful allergies, and Ms Nancy gives him the meds he needs and will call to make sure he can play outside on particularly bad days. I know that the teachers there love my kids. They are so kind! When we leave, the boys often run back to give hugs to Nancy, Sherri and Ashley. This is a great place with experienced Montessori teachers who really understand the model and have proper expectations of children. You won’t regret sending your kids here!
Absolutely love this program and the staff! Started our son in the toddler program when he was 20 months old .He had never been to any childcare before so it was a big transition for him and for us as parents. Ms. Nancy was so kind and reassured me that he would flourish in the classroom and he did! His vocabulary is incredible at 2.5 years old. I always felt supported as a parent. I love that the kids get outdoor playtime time twice a day and also that healthy and homemade made lunches are provided daily. I’m pretty sure my son eats better at school than at home, he loves Ms. Shazia’s food. All the admin. staff and teachers are very kind and nurturing with the kids. They truly build a bond with the kids and that gives me so much peace of mind.
My experience with Hebron Montessori School, and their staff, have been nothing but great since day one. We were looking for a new daycare for our son, due to a previous daycare that was not the best fit. Nancy and her staff were very understanding, reassuring and most of all genuinely concerned for the development and care for our son. The teachers are amazing, and the facilities make you feel as if you’re in someone’s loving home. My son’s classroom consists of 1 main teacher and 3 assistants, all of whom watch over the children with a nurturing eye. My son is happy when I drop him off and just as happy when I pick him up. They’ve been amazing for our family!
