Finding a daycare can be difficult but as soon as I walked into Hei almost a year ago, I knew it was different to most. It was and still is, a calm, beautiful and inviting space, where my daughter feels comfortable and at home. The staff are so welcoming and take the time to listen to both the children in their care and their parents/families to ensure needs are being met. I love that the kinder room changes after discussion with the children and observation of their interests. My daughter is proud to show me the things she has done each day including the areas they create together, inside and outside! It really is a wonderful centre and know my little one will love it there as much as her big sister.
It was really hard as a first time mum to leave my (then) 6 month old in anyone’s care, but the educators at HEI schools made sure both my daughter and I were comfortable with the transition. They’ve been particularly supportive with a clingy baby, who wouldn’t take a bottle, and only feeds/rocks to sleep at home.
My daughter loves the nursery room and has smiles for all of the educators every time we go!
Hei Schools Ballarat is an amazing work environment.
The team is more like family than colleagues and the centre has a fantastic atmosphere.
The director Sarah is kind, caring and compassionate with great values and a beautiful image for our centres future.
I am one of the educators here and cannot recommend it highly enough. All the staff are lovely and the centre has a cosy, family style feel to it. Sarah is the director and is a fantastic person who loves what she does. Come along and have a tour and see for yourself.
A dedicated team of professional staff that care so beautifully for our little one. We are so glad we found such a great childcare in a central location.
