The worst school district. I recently moved I went to change my address at central administration they said my 4 honor roll children weren’t in Hempstead zone. But I have a Hempstead address. At central administration they were very nasty. They discharged my 4 children that same day. They didn’t let my children finish the week. The district says no child left behind. That’s a lie .
If I could give less stars I would. The Hempstead school district is a joke and , if your kid is special needs definitely don’t want your child here . Lack of communication , they act like they care but I doubt it from my experience this far and just haven’t experienced this prior . Getting someone on the phone is like pulling teeth.
I’m in 9th grade now but when I went to this school it was very dirty and alot of staff would slack off alot especially the lunch ladies. Also the majority of the teacher their are very mean (especially my English teacher) I think they would do better if they had better attitudes and worked harder in my opinion.
