The female teacher in charge of the graphic design program is one of the worst teachers. Not all people are meant to teach and she certainly is not. You can tell she is only there to get a paycheck. Her classroom was ran horribly. Did not let students interact with each other at all . She also seemed to like degrading her students. A fellow classmate accidently brought in mud on their shoes which resulted in some dried up mud on the carpet.. instead of telling that student to get a broom or a vacum to clean it up she yelled at the student and said he couldnt do his work until he got on his hands and knees and picked up every little spec of mud on the carpet.. so the student spent an hour of class time picking up crumbs of dirt? What kind of teacher does that ? The class was a silent 3 hour disaster. Her way of teaching was to read out of a book for 1 hour and then look at you stupidly when you asked a question . If this school wants what’s best for their students I suggest getting a new teacher not a snobby border line bully that does not respect her students.
We had the pleasure of attending a prix fixe dinner at Cinder, the restaurant for the Herndon Career Center. The students run the restaurant including hosting, serving and cooking. The entire experience was top notch from start to finish. The Panna Cota is the best in the city. I encourage everyone to support the educators and students at Herndon.
Very rude and unprofessional. Hung up on me before I could ask my 2nd question.
