We looked for alternative schooling for Sienna for Grade 11 and 12 that offered a pathway directly relating to her dream of pursuing a career professionally in the performing arts, specifically musical theatre. By enrolling at the Hervey Bay Performing Arts College she can complete her grade 12 schooling as well as really focusing in on a wide range of areas of the performing arts. She is no longer limited to pursuing her interests in the performing arts on top of a full time academic schedule which focuses on subjects that are unrelated to her interests. She is busier than ever but in all areas of the things she loves and wants to pursue beyond Grade 12. Every day is a step towards achieving her goals and dreams. The Hervey Bay Performing Arts College has welcomed Sienna and our family with wide open arms and we feel like we have come home.
This school is amazing! All the staff and students are so nice and caring! The confidence I have gained is incredible. I have improved so much with the help of our wonderful teachers. This is one amazing and humble High school!
The best decision we have ever made is sending our daughter to the college for year 7. Jonathon and Gail are so caring towards the students and they are offered incredible opportunities. Can’t wait to send our other daughter here in a couple of years
This school is fabulous. It provides our children with opportunities to live out their performing arts dreams and turn them into reality. The support, development and real experiences they provide have been nothing short of amazing.
We are so lucky to have the College as an option for schooling in the region. The support, nurturing teachers and encouragement are amazing. All the kids shine in their own way and the smiles each day say it all
