If I could rate this school 0 stars I would. My experience here was beyond imaginable. The students as well as teachers and other faculty members are beyond rude, vicious, and uncaring. Bullying is a major problem and the faculty members could care less. I remember, as a kid, coming here and being bullied relentlessly every, single, day. When I would report to the school or teachers about who was bullying me and what they did they brushed it off and only seemed to feel it was better to have me sit next to the person in order to “resolve the conflict” and of course, the bullying only got worse. I only knew one kind faculty member, Mr. Henry who was security, retired this last year but was the only one who would give me advice or talk to the kids who bullied others as well as myself. It’s a shame that he did but even worse that he was the only one who seemed to care about the students or tried to end the harassment and bullying amongst them. Overall, if you send your kid here, don’t be surprised by the lack of compassion from teachers or your child’s unwillingness to go to school because of bullying; don’t put your kid through that. Send them somewhere else.

Every year registration they give you packets full of paper, but this year the school is so poor they have no money to afford to print paper for our students. They tells us to go online and print paper. Teachers and staff at Hewes it cost ONLY LESS THAN A TWO DOLLARS TO BUY 500 SHEETS OF PAPER!!!!
