Terrible experience. Would not recommend this place to anyone for child care. If your looking for professional care, respectable staff that you can trust, this is NOT the place. Most caring parents want to know how their child does each day at care, or if he’s supposedly sick – what their symptoms were because their pediatrician is asking.. At this place, you won’t get those answers. Your not allowed to ask those questions. If you try and call the school, no one will answer the phone or return your call (even if you left a message). And yep… they won’t respond to emails either. Emails were the “preferred way” to get ahold of the school per the director, because they were just too busy, but yet they still couldn’t respond. Staff consistently showed up late for work and it was “ok”. I lost track of how many times we were told that one of their staff was “the best infant care teachers on the west coast”. They constantly needed to tell us this… Wife and I should of known from our very first meeting with them that this place was a joke. I couldn’t be more thankful that we found alternate care elsewhere. I’m blown away this place is still in business. I’d imagine if they continue down the path there going, they won’t last long.

One last thing – if you decide to change schools (BEST option if your currently enrolled there) when you go to ASK for your refund check/deposit, expect you’ll have to go through the state or get a third party involved. It took us over 5 weeks to get our check. As soon as we got the state involved, we had our check within 3 days…. This place is an absolute joke. Poor business management.

The space itself is set up nicely, and at first glance, seems to be a pretty decent program. However, there are some issues that are hard to get past.
The staff turnover rate seems to be alarmingly high. I understand the school is still relatively new, but the amount of people that have come and gone is concerning. I am a firm believer that children learn best in an environment where they feel safe, comfortable and loved, as well as one that provides consistency. These things hardly seem achievable with adults coming and going in the children’s lives as often as they do.
The lack of gross motor/decent outside space. The outdoor space resembles a prison yard more than a school playground. There is also no gym or indoor space for any type of physical education.
Redmond is in desperate need of good childcare, and unfortunately, this doesn’t seem to make the cut. I have heard from multiple families currently enrolled that if they knew of a better option, they would pull their children. I have heard stories from multiple sources (both parents and former staff) of children being shamed, favoritism being displayed and the “Montessori” title being used as a status symbol rather than the philosophy being followed through in the classroom. After seeing the space and getting a few testimonials, I will be commuting my child to Bend for their Montessori education.
