apparently a pond some exercise equipment no one uses an empty shed and a flimsy greenhouse made of cheap plastic is worth 150 grand
This school is the worst school I’ve ever been to and it’s absolutely terrible, for one they don’t care about bullying and they make you do to much work, foods pretty decent, now I’ve been damn shuffling. Jokes asides tho I’m not actually Riley, my name is Bryden O’Connor I go to the same school lmao
I have worked at both sites, the old and the new and the new one is much better than the old in terms of access, facilities, looks, classroom sizes, atmosphere, it is also more efficient and the overall footprint is smaller.
I went to the old school as a pupil and it was relatively new when I attended. When I returned to work here not much had changed and although the fabric of the building was still usable it had aged, classrooms, teaching areas were spread over a huge area and access to certain areas, although achievable, was not the best so to move into the new premises was fantastic. Improvements have continued, we have a top of the range 3G football pitch. The old tennis courts were transformed into a MUGA and now include netball courts, a 60 metre track, football pitch and have retained the courts for tennis/volleyball. The main pool was re-lined last year, the pool plant room was totally refitted.
The North Building, formally D Block and for those old enough, Thornhill, has been refurbished throughout and reflects the new site in terms of layout, classrooms, offices etc.
Further improvements to the site will happen in the future.
Teachers are ok but they don’t take racism or bullying seriously
Our son had emotional needs and this school assured us that they could provide the support he required. They promised everything and delivered nothing.Once the emotional needs team realised they could not deliver he was abandoned with little or no regard for his education. He was moved from site whilst we looked for another school and although he was still in their care there were no checks by the school as to how he was being educated or even worse as to his welfare. We got the impression that he was deemed to be a problem and discarded as soon as possible.Perhaps ratings are more important than the child himself.I have reluctantly had to rate this school one star to access the review panel. In reality they deserve a minus infinity score but I am not even sure if such a score is achievable. Perhaps High Tunstal could advise after all they are in the business of education. However the problem may fall outside of their comfort zone, just as some children seem to do.
