Chris and his team not only provide excellent tuition in a number of instruments, but also build youngsters’ confidence and performance skill. With high-quality instruments at their HQ, our son has been able to sample a range of drum kits and try different music styles whilst also achieving considerable success in his Rock School drum exams. The School’s online app is brilliant for parents to rebook lessons if commitments occur and for reading teacher after each lesson. The recent concert allowed students the chance to have a go playing in front of a live audience. Chris even provided advice on the best kit to buy! In short, HMS go the extra mile to make learning an instrument worthwhile and above all fun. Highly recommended!
This music school is definitely one I would recommend. I started lessons around 6 months ago with Beth and have now written my own songs on the guitar. From a complete beginner to being able to pick songs up quickly is something I never imagined. Chris is amazing and so supportive! I look forward to my lessons every week and enjoy the short break from real life stresses. Couldn’t recommend enough
Absolutely recommend Hobley Music School. My 5 year old Son has loved his guitar lessons over the past few months and with the encouragement, patience and friendly nature of the teachers he has learnt some amazing skills, not just with his music knowledge, but also his confidence, enthusiasm for creativity, and ambition to now be a Rock Star
Chris’ kind welcome and clear passion for all the students shines. It’s a great place to ignite a child’s (and adults) passion for music.
Oliver loves going to Hobley Music School and his confidence has grown. When exams were first mentioned he completely dismissed the idea, but after several lessons with Chris, he is excited and thinks he could do well. Great teaching and supporting young students to achieve their best.
My five year old has been having ukulele lessons for about six months now and he loves it! The progress he’s made is incredible, thanks to the patience, skill and fantastic talents of his teacher. Would highly recommend.
