My daughter has been at Holt House since reception and is now in Y2. She absolutely loves it. She’s made great friends, great progress and been so well cared for. Teachers have responded quickly and effectively to any queries we’ve had and fully supported us with her allergy requirements. We’re made to feel part of the school community, which is lovely. Its setting within the woodland is fab. We’re happily applying for our son to join in reception next year and would highly recommend Holt House to others too.
This is an outstanding school! I have sent both my children to this school. The setting is fantastic- lots of green space surrounding it, making it feel more like a rural school. One of my children has now moved up to Carterknowle Junior School, the other is in Y2 at Holt House. The teachers at Holt House are caring and work very hard to make every child feel welcome and safe. The learning is made fun and my children love(d) going to this school. I would highly recommend Holt House to anyone.
I’ve got nothing but praise for the school and teachers at Holt House. My daughter is treated as an individual and when I’ve asked for support, I have always had a response from the school. It’s a great community and all the parents are lovely, too. I’ve always felt that our queries are handled well. I can see how hard everyone works as as team and the most important thing is that the children are put first and are well cared for. I would highly recommend this school to anyone.
This is a wonderful small infant school which has exceptionally caring and supportive staff who provide excellent learning opportunities for all children. The communication and support during the Covid pandemic has been very good. We have felt well supported at home with all the resources we need.
There is lots of outdoor space, a new outdoor climbing area and plenty of learning resources.
Both my sons are here in Y1 and Y2 and they are happy, confident and always look forward to attending. Any queries have always had swift responses and we feel very fortunate to be part of a lovely group of children and parents. We would highly recommend this school.
Holt House is a wonderful school. My son has just left after his amazing 3 years here. The staff are outstanding, they accommodated my son having separated parents , always sending and creating 2 of everything for us. Any issues or concerns are dealt with swiftly and your mind put at ease. I cannot recommend this school highly enough, wonderful memories for my son.
