Once you stay their for at least two-weeks the staff and teacher don’t care about you anymore. when you go to the bathroom to do your business it too dirty to use because it looks like no janitor work there and it like they just get pay to stand outside and look at you for a while or go on their phones. The security are the worst part because if it a man then he well put he’s hands on a girl that not even pass 16 and a lot of kids walk around the hall with no pass and skipping class by waiting outside sitting on the beach or talking to the security for an hour about their girlfriend, friends, money. And the women does not do anything even though they see kids skipping class. The school is a joke and once they heard this from me they well get serious for one week and then stop because they can’t not even be serious with the students for a whole school year. Even though the students treat them like an animal.
I don’t understand why most people have bad things to say about this school. A lot of us graduated recently and there have few students who are ready for the college or other things. Most of bad things happen because of students who keeps their mischief from others and blame on others. For example, it’s the teacher, principal, counselor, and/or etc. It’s was mostly the students who didn’t care about the consequences or didn’t want to do anything yet desired results as if they are the hard working students. I’m saying it’s not as bad it is; however, it’s not the best school as it does have issues that need to be fix(refer the students). This school isn’t my best school but I will not ignore the unreasonable backlash( refer to unappreciated students) but there’s reasonable concerns like the school conditions.
Graduated in 1985 and this school was the worst back in that time period. I had no complaints about the physical structure of the school as at the time it was brand new. However, coming from New York and landing in a dump like Leisure City the education was completely lacking compared to the education offered in NYC. All the year’s curriculum for 9th grade, my first year in Florida, was exactly the same course work I had already worked on in 7th or 8th grade in New York, and these were honors and AP Classes. It was just horrendous to say the least. Now I hear it’s even worse, 35 years later. If you can afford it send your kid to a better school.
