I used to go to this school and if you want your child to have a 1 way ticket to hell. Send them here. I once (back in yr 7) broke my leg the day before PE and you know what one of them idiots did. He made me get changed AND run the warm up. I never bothered with PE again.
Personally I think this school is terrible, they don’t taking bullying seriously or students dealing with children with mental issues e.g. depression, self harm and OCD. I don’t recommend this school because 9/10 of the teachers punish students for very stupid, little things.

The school has changed so much in the past two years, now students have to wear skirts and trousers With the schools logo on which are very poorly made and are a waist of money. The skirts fall apart and the trousers aren’t fitted and are not true to size. The uniform is uncomfortable and distracts students from their learning. Teachers wear jeans and other ‘no uniform clothing’.

The rules are however another story. No phones, no electronic watches/apple watches/fit bits, no visible wake up, no ‘extreme hairstyle or colours’,no jewellery and can’t have pumps or comfortable shoes. Also teachers lock students in the classrooms and they don’t control bad behaving students. Students can swear at teachers and not get punished. Teachers don’t know how to control and teach students.

Overall I think this school is the worst in Wakefield. Much rather go to another school or travel over an hour to go to get better education. Send your children to another school!

If you want your child to get bullied, send them here. I would not even send my child to this school. I am at this school and I am in year 11, and this school doesn’t do anything about bullying. The amount of times I have spoken to the teachers and my mum has been in complaining and nothing never gets done. People don’t get treated equally, when I report something about a member of staff, nothing happens, people get away with stuff, giving them a C4 is not going to make them stop. I actually pray that this school gets it self sorted out. Some classrooms need to be tidyied and set as a good example. Some dinner ladies are moody, one of them refused to give me dinner just because I waited for the line to go down and I reported it and yet again nothing happened. They don’t care about anything but money I swear down. The head teacher should come into all the classrooms more often and see how the teachers really are. For my science class we always had a cover teacher who wasn’t properly qualified, and had us reading out of a book for 2 weeks, how is this going to get our GCSE’s? At least supply us with a proper science teacher. I honestly rather go to another school. They used to do anti- bullying week but now they don’t, they should at least try to make their students happy other wise more bad reviews are going to show up and less students will come. Speaking to a teacher or a member of staff about your problems is never conferdential. I used to have a peer mentor but she left and they never offered for me to speak to anyone. They have WiFi but the WiFi spies on people so when you use it, school can see all of your messages and who your texting (I got told this from a teacher). I wish I had a good review to put.
Appalling school for dealing with bullying, punish the victims and praise the bullies, Favoritizam of students who get away with bulling others GIVE THEM A PAT ON THE BACK WELL DONE. Lack of communication between all staff. Only bothered about their Ofsted, i would not send any child to this school gone down hill in the last few years.
Absolutely appalling, don’t do anything about bullying. Just blame it on the victim and give them consiquences. Don’t give good advice. All they care about is their ‘Ofsted reports’ as they are all ignorant and want so called good ratings when you only have a 2.5. Think you should get your act together and do something about bullying instead of making the victim feel it’s their fault.
