This year, we moved our two eldest children to Horizons College. The change in their attitudes at home and towards their schooling has changed dramatically. Gone are the days of refusing to get out of bed and go to school. No longer do they just feel like numbers in a school that is too big to care. They are loving their elective subjects and our eldest got his highest grades in his core subjects that he has had in a long time.
I have worked at Horizons for a long time and have always believed in what we do here and the lives we change. Seeing it from a parents perspective for the first time, and the positive changes in my own children, has really cemented for me that we have a fantastic team who will always go above and beyond for our students.
My daughter has finally found a school she can thrive in. The teachers and guidance officers go above and beyond to help students succeed and feel supported in every way. Bullying is not tolerated so it’s a safe environment. There’s a lot of flexibility with assessments so students can present their work in meaningful and individual ways that keep them engaged. Highly recommend this school.
i have been going to horizons for 2 years now and it is better than other schools
Horizons College is an amazing educational experience, a school that focuses on individual needs of the students. This school has lifted my child’s self esteem and pride like no other school could ever do. Instead of feeling like he isn’t achieving enough, he now celebrates his achievements and abilities. Horizons College renews young people’s interest in unlocking their potential and reengaging with learning.
Horizons College is an exceptional educational institute with a focus on the students needs and abilities. My daughter attended the college for over 3 years and graduated with pride. She wouldn’t have succeeded without the support of the staff and students at Horizons College. A big thank you to Jan Robinson and staff.
