I kinda miss this school, don’t think anyone there would have missed me though, i would come back again but old memories make me have a mental breakdown due to me being unstable.
I finished last year in year6 and the staff are really mean. DONT GO TRUST ME
It WAS a brilliant school pre-2013. Since then, kids have been going to high school not knowing their basics like times tables. There are some WONDERFUL teachers (Mrs Baker, Miss Eudale, Miss Stroke) who are genuinely interested in children and their happiness and learning. Others, seem fine on the surface but have a checklist approach to teaching instead of a child readiness approach. Such a shame for a lot of kids.
If you have the option, go to Hornsby NORTH Public. It’s a world of difference in positive education, care and nurturing with an intelligent and professional team of teachers that we will love for a long time after leaving.
Attended HHPS from 1994-2000. Mostly great times there, some rough times but the good outweighed the bad. Havent been back at all, not even to see what it looks like now in the 20 years since. My Dad did a fair bit of work there on weekends back then – brickwork, I think he even helped put together two of the playgrounds from memory. Just looking at photos of it from Google Maps, and I wouldnt even know it now. I know progress happens over time, but it would have been cool to see some things remaining from my time there. Now just wondering if anybody at all from my time there is still there or if they have all retired
This school is a very good school and my kids love it and I would totally recommend and there is not that many kids I in the school
