Worst school I have ever put my children into. I have 2 boys who are part of Houston Acandemy, and theyre both asian. I cant even tell you how much they come from this College Prep School crying, because of bullying. They tell me Why cant I do that, or Why cant they pick me. It just breaks my heart from the racially comments spoke from this school. My children are now part of Providence Christian School, and I dont regret a thing. Highly dont recommend HA if you come from a different origin, and your scared of your child getting bullied. Recommend Provi or Northside for you. Thank you.
More than anything, I feel like Houston Academy teaches your children to strive for excellence academically. It is the only college preparatory school in our area. The faculty, parents, and students strive for excellence collectively in all areas, teaching our children integrity and to be well-rounded individuals that are ready for college and the rest of the world when they finish! It is a family and there is NO place like it!
Houston Academy is our home away from home. You feel like family when you enter the school. Everyone is warm and inviting. You are called by name from the faculty and administrators. We have two children that are pushed academically and we feel certain will become successful adults. This is a college preparatory school and your children are well prepared for college. We love being a part of the Houston Academy Raiders.
