School needs better management. My son was there for prek4 and moving him to another school has been the best decision I have made. Please do your research on teacher’s and school! Attending Gateway did more damage than help him blossom like his current school. I’m not the type to give a bad review but this is our kids were talking about and hopefully I have helped someone who is is in doubt. There might be some great teachers here but unfortunately we didn’t experience that. Year attended (2015 -2016) Hope that with this review changes are made I suggest smaller size classes and full time teacher aides for each teacher not 1 aide for 2 teacher’s. Recess or outside play daily, organized field trips with ride on bus parents. Also, some teachers should continue to attend seminars, meetings, continued education like those that my son had.
The Hassing that goes on in the school band needs to stop! What the hell is that slapping them in the neck when they mess up? Thats plain stupid and beyond bullying! The oldest kids do that stuff to the new kids and they expect the kids to know there stuff from day 1
My son goes to Pre k 4 and I love it, he is learning so much and everyday he tells me that he loves his teacher. Teachers are really nice and understanding. Glad I made the desicion to put him in this school.
