The school looks nice and thats really all i can give it. The staff doesnt teach the subject as a new subject more like a quick review and unless you watch videos or get extra outside help its very difficult to stay on pace. The staff members like Assistant Principal and Attendance office ladies are very stuck up and rude. They know they can abuse their power and they do and its sad because most kids will “follow an adults orders” blindly. The school is very boastful of the apparent “diversity” but honestly where? If you are, basic, white, christian, and rich then Houston High will be great for you. It isn’t if you aren’t any of those things the staff will treat you like the rats in the band room, under the Varsity gym, or like Mr. Cherry himself.
This school overall has been disappointing. The teachers make no sense, and they test on stuff that isn’t taught. Even more, the teachers are very bad! Half of them don’t teach, and the other half makes learning stuff super hard. Half of the AP classes are a joke, and the school “pep rallies” are just lame.
