Making children of all ages walk to school 2 miles each way is unsafe!
No crossing guards on the entire way to my kids high school, they have to cross the busy roads during rush hour, since schools now start later. Which is stupid also! Using our tax dollars for the most unprepared Zum bus company! They also can’t figure out how to stop sending texts and emails about the buses to us parents who’s kids no longer qualify for bus!!!
The most uneducated BOE members and superintendent ever in history!

You all need to start walking to work!!!!
Better yet walk with our kids! See what it’s like on these busy roads!
Get it together or get out of office!!!

BUSES!!! – Last two days, I was informed the bus would not be coming due to driver shortage with 30 minutes notice. Yes, 30 minutes before it was due to arrive. We were redistricted to a school 20 minutes away. With the High School time change, once we drive our children we have to drop them off at Blandair Park because the roads are too congested with Middle school starting at the same time. Then they walk from the park to the school. Does this make any sense? Now, more bus drivers are needed because the times are not staggered. Who comes up with these plans and did they think of all aspects of their changes.
Have an issue with my 4th graders math teacher, not reaching back out to us after several attempts! I called the principal to see if he can resolve this with the parents! No answer from him or call back as of yet! The teacher Holly miles never responded to any of our emails and doesn’t seem to care about what the student understands in the math class far as the concept of math!

You would think our kids going to Howard county schools would make a difference for their effort and learning concepts! I give them a 0 rating for their behavior and attitude skills!
