Honestly if I could rate it a zero I would I got kicked out this school for something I shouldnt have done but when I came home with a head injury djd the school even tell my parents NOPE this school is terrible would not recommend the teachers are lazy and I went through hell and the teachers were all telling me I’m the problem EXCUSE ME??? I was not really the problem when I was not liking life in there it’s horrible ever since i have been at my new school my mental health has been way better and I actually go to school with no problem so please don’t send your children here
This school is only really good if you want your child to be an academic work horse from year 7 to year a 11, I attended this school from year 7 to sixth form and the teachers only really care about the students that are the most academically smart, they won’t do anything for students who are bullied (there are certain who do care but can’t do much because their hands are tied) there has been recent news of a music teacher being fired because they found a bra in their classroom and he also acted unprofessional around girls. The technicians are probably the select few that do care as for when I was doing my A levels they would often be in the music room a lot and they would always check up on me and see how I was doing mentally and gave me advice. There is no safeguarding in place at all when it comes to the safety of the children outside school, for example a friend of mine wouldn’t tell safeguarding about what she was dealing with because they would tell her parents and it would make it worse on her. In conclusion if you want your child to have good grades and be miserable the school is perfect, if you want your child to be happy and mentally understood don’t send them here
the communcication is absolutely terrible, actually the lack of communication between staff members and the ones above them to especially deputy heads and so on. This school needs to have a deep reconsideration in whether they are actually qualified to be a school as well as the teachers being qualified, and technicians are not teachers may i say from what my child has told me! I can say that those technicians probably get payed less than everyone at that school but are probably doing more work than a lot of the higher paid ones which is also disgusting.
Absolutely horrible made everyone’s mental health bad and doesn’t do anything about bully
After leaving and attending college I’d say it’s one of the most unprofessional schools I’d say that is out there, only a few teachers care. Only send your child here if you wish for them to have a mental breakdown everyday for the foreseeable future.
