Our daughter attended Hunsdon from 2022-2023 and really thrived there. They have a beautiful set up both indoors and outdoors and the small group sizes mean that they are able to benefit from closer attention that most nurseries are not able to provide. She developed close friends and would happily leave the house to head out to nursery in the morning! Thanks very much to everyone at Hunsdon for a lovely year
We are on our 2nd year at Hunsdon House and we absolutely love it. The staff is so caring and loving with our son. They create such a nurturing, supportive environment. The smaller size means the staff knows each kid/family really well and can cater to needs. We chose Hunsdon house for their multicultural approach, the fact that staff are fluent in multiple languages. The garden school environment is beautiful and they spend lots of time outdoors. The school has loads of hands-on activities for the kids but has a wonderful Montessori approach, allowing the child’s interests to drive what they do. We really appreciate the relaxed approach of the staff, for example we dont need to stress about being late and getting fined, etc. We will definitely send our baby here when he is of age. Cant say enough good things about Hunsdon House and unsurprising considering this lovely place has been a nursery since the 1920s
My son loves this nursery.
He entered the nursery with no knowledge of English and had no problems at all.
He learnt English from his teachers and friends through play and within a year he could understand most of it.
It is the best nursery for any child to have a good time.
I went here in the 1970s. My children went here recently. All the staff are lovely. We bump into them in Headington and always stop and chat. Its small friendly and hospitable. Great to be so close to the outdoors and gardens and outdoor play spaces
Both of my children went to nursery here, from 2011 to 215, and loved it. Full of great activities, lovely children, and very helpful and considerate staff – and a beautiful garden!
