I graduated from here the end of April. Mr. Harvey and Ms. Angela are great teachers. Most of what you will learn is paper charting, impressions, and X-rays. This is a great way to learn instruments and the course work gives a lot of good information. When I started my job, the dentist I am working with, wished they would have worked more with how to pass instruments. Great experience, but my suggestion would be to find a dentist that is hiring and see if you can intern with them. Intern work with an experienced assistant is the best way to learn.
I started this class in August with high hopes and, this program completely exceeded my expectations. The instructors Mr. Harvey and Ms. Angela were great! They went out of there way to make sure we knew everything we needed and the made this program so much fun. So if youre looking for a program where you can learn and have fun this is the place for you!!
The instructors, Ms. Angela & Mr. Harvey, were AWESOME. Helped each student in their specific area of hardship. They were easy to understand and teach us in a way that EVERY student could learn. The hybrid curriculum was very convenient especially when you work full time. I would recommend HDAS to anyone who is looking for a new career.
