The orange awning is what caught my eye and there’s so much more inside iBrain.
**Let me preface this with, I’ve previously worked in a daycare and am currently an educator.**
I found iBrain about 2 going on 3 years ago. I shopped around and toured a few other daycare centers. I was skeptical when I first toured iBrain because it’s my first home-daycare setting, and I was so used to seeing larger daycare facilities. (Don’t let that dissuade you!) My daughter started in their 2’s program and they were so gentle, patient, and understanding with her. It’s her first structured school setting and they’ve really won her (and I) over. We stayed with iBrain for their 3k and now DOE preK program. They follow the same preK curriculum for the district and really allow the children to engage with and explore each unit. I could tell with the daily photo updates (whoop whoop!) which are awesome for starting discussions with my 4yr old about what she did in school.
All the lunches are homemade! Alert them of any allergies so they can accommodate. My daughter LOVES the food (along with daily photo updates of your child you get to see daily photos of breakfast and lunch). It looks like what you’d order at a Korean restaurant ?? Yum.
Oh, that’s another thing. When I toured I learned that the director spoke Korean and had a teacher who was helping us translate and interpret. I was worried of a language barrier. Despite not understanding Korea, I’ve never felt out-of-tune or unaccepted. This center does a wonderful job of staying in communication with families.
I couldn’t be happier and more satisfied with the care, love, warmth, and education they’ve been providing my daughter at iBrain. I wish they had more space to keep their 2’s program because I know trustworthy care for young children is hard to find.
If you want an all-around trustworthy and enriching center for your littleone… look no further!
