Every school has its ups and downs but Baker is an amazing school and i totally recommend it! I’ve been to 3 high schools so take my word for it! On the negative, Baker is overly strict about things such as dress code and being late to class, however, there be students skipping class ALL THE TIME?? The students here also don’t have much spirit but i blame the school because the pep rallys are lame and they don’t do anything fun here. On the positive, the teachers here are really hard on you, you might have bad grades BUT you will learn!! Especially if you are taking an AP class don’t give up! The students are really nice and friendly and its overall a very good environment to be in. I loved it made many amazing memories with my best friends! AND THE LUNCH IS GOOD YOU HAVE WAY MORE CHOICES! THAT SUB LINE IS NOT NO JOKE AND THERE IS GOOD LIGHTING !!
I’m a future freshman and I want to know the reality to it’s baker since my sister went their but she went to the school in 2011 or later, I assume it’s changed. So what is the school okay, great, terrible? I’m not giving stars because I just have question and I plan to be a well-rounded individual, eventually making it to a university such as MIT OR Harvard; setting my standards low would be like FIU, UCF, OR University of Miami (Private school) and all of this well deserved with intelligence and a scholarship by my side.
Its a nice newer school. Clean and maintained well. I have known of 2 children that attended ida baker and so far no complaints. That ive heard from either of them. Ive been there several times for various occasions. One being yesterday i went and watched the matinee of Footloose that the students worked so hard and so long on. And it showed they did a MAGNIFICENT job! I’m very proud of my niece and the rest of the cast. It was very enjoyable!.
