I have 2 children whom attend Iduma. This year will be our third year enrolled. I have a son that receives instruction through the SKILLS [SPED] and he loves his teachers. However new teachers are hired and are not familiar with the dismissal procedures. You shouldnt have to constantly say “my child is in Skills” and I did it so much last year to the same lady that I think she saw it was frustrating me, she kept doing it. But overall Ms. Holly is the best AP and she actually believes in all her children and push for the best possible outcome. She gas been in attendance at all my ARDs and she believes in my child, which makes me feel at ease sending him off. My younger son also loves the school and he has no problems with any bullying or anything. Thanks Iduma for treating my children as if they were your own…
Considering there are no perfect schools, beware of teachers who will curse children out, and berate them in front of any audience, are physically aggressive and will even assault children, and a principal who will smile and cover it up. My child has a learning disability and the best they could offer me as an explanation for my child’s lack of progress on their special needs plan was “some kids are just not ready”.
My daughter loves it at this school it is great! The teachers are wonderful and we had one issue and it was taken care of that day. Great discipline and I live how they have Spanish class and music class.
