After years of working in the technology industry I made the decision to transition my career to becoming a professional truck driver. I wanted to get out from behind an office desk and start a more active job that allows me to not only see the country, but also become a vital part of a workforce that delivers essential freight to consumers, especially in these times of crisis.
I researched a number of independent and corporate training opportunities and made the decision to enroll in the IITR Truck School. My decision was based on the promise that I was going to receive the full training package that included classroom, hands-on, and behind the wheel training that would provide me with the best chance at achieving my goal to become a successful truck driver. That goal was achieved and today I drive truck for a national trucking company and owe my start to the training I received at the IITR Truck School. I went to school here in Clackamas Oregon. But I took there class along time ago.I stayed in a small apartment by the freeway. I started on night class and then went to days. Everyone was great. We trained in a dirt yard.I can’t remember my trainer name in the class room and for the road. They where all great people. I would recommend IITR to anyone out there. Had alot of great memories. I am retired from driving trucks do to my health but I still miss it. Some day I hope too stop in to IITR and say HELLO. Thank you IITR. HAROLD
