I took my son out of PS 273 because he was bullied for 4 years. He entered IMLCS as a 4th grader 2 years ago and it wasn’t a good experience for him. He was constantly being blamed for things he didn’t do and was uncomfortable being in class because of the hitting. He was hit on his knees with a chair three times and reacted to that and was spit on the face. Some kids would talk nasty that he had to step out of class and tell someone about it and was worried that he would be blamed for it. My son was happy to do a year of online learning because he was relieved from all the bullying. When it was time for him to head back to school he didn’t want to go back.
They need to upgrade and update the school website for parents of the students so they can see what’s going on at the school with their children. And also update the calendar for the school year I have called last year about the calendar and the person was unpleasant with me and rude
My son has been going there since third grade, & he’s in 6 grade know ,he as improve way better than before he start going their, & the teachers & staff also do excellent work in teaching them kids , keep up the good work IMLCS )
