As a start of my new 8th grade virtual school year here. Decent, better yet very pleasing with all of my teachers. But with one teacher, she overlooks every bit of my talent and creativity, my effort and way of interpreting the Georgia standards, and the way I choose to model and show my way of how I work and how it helps them understand the learning targets. And quite frankly, that teacher would be MS. WIMBERLY. She refuses to see my own individual creative motives and ambitions for my work by strongly criticizing with a mind for herself instead of a mind for the standards of the board of education! In class, she sings songs that are not beneficial to our education and annoys other students as well as me, but nobody is brave enough to tell her at all. Gets angry at us for a minor and small mistake that we made on a question or pre test overview. The work that I do matches with the criticism for the board of education to decide if I move to the next grade based upon our efforts for our education, not her!!! I am PHYSICALLY, MENTALLY, AND EMOTIONALLY OUTRAGED!!! Every time I submit an assignment in its specific date and time period needed, and with all of the effort for possibly many days or so by working in groups or by myself, having to go to waste based upon how it’s not suitable enough for HER liking. It is as if she acts like I am some intimidating challenge or fourth wall to break due to my fast paced learning and advanced level education! I am DISGUSTED and APPALLED about how she grades me like I am a high standard adult that should know better, instead of treating me like responsible, prompt, and mature TEENAGER!!!!! Other than this, all of my other classes are well modeled and efficient enough for my education and learning environment to develop in. Thank you!
Horrible experience! My daughter took American Sign Language as her foreign language at Impact. Her 2nd year was taken during her junior year, but by the end of the year they told her there was a part B to the course but they said they’d give her the credit since it was their fault for not posting part B assignments for her. Then now after a month into her senior year they’re telling her that she has to complete the part B on top of her 3 dual enrollment courses and another course at the academy. They extended her deadline, of course, because they slacked on taking care of this matter. She could’ve taken it over the summer but now it’s putting more stress on her with all her responsibilities during senior year. All Impact said was that they’re sorry and the teacher took responsibility. What does taking responsibility for messing up a senior’s schedule mean is that the teacher admitted she made the mistake, while my daughter has to pay for it. Now my daughter has no choice but to take it because she needs it to graduate. The principal claims she understands but she doesn’t. My daughter is in tears because of her added workload, this is her senior year and this wasn’t what she expected. The school’s negligence effects my daughter but no consequences befalls on the teacher who failed to do her job. And for some reason my daughter was the only one who was effected by this mistake. I would not recommend your child to use Impact but if they must then make sure to double check their courses to make sure they get all parts of the course.

First things first this school is plain HORRIBLE. I honestly would not recommend this school at all. I feel the teachers here want to fail you on purpose and dont care anything about your grades!!! My fithe grade year here was terrible i agree they need to get rid of ms osborne and ms millen. Ms millen hardly comes to school everyday and I really feel bad for her home room. Im really convinced ms Osborne does not know that it is her job to give students their grade and help them. The students here are either miserable or just sick and tired of these people. I’ve witnessed people get buillied numerus of times and it makes no sense how the teachers just dont care. I was in mrs allens class and she had a bit of an attitude also. she would sometimes refuse to help students and call us out. DO NOT SIGN YOUR CHILD UP TO GO HERE.
