Education wise, this is a great school..one of the best in the area. But i want to know if there is any other parents who have had a bullying problem at this school? No child should come home from school upset because they were being bullied or have to worry about a kid hitting them either. If there is other parents dealong with this maybe we should go to school together and figure out some type of reasonable punishments. I for one, do not want my kids self esteem ruined because some kid is being cruel. And it certainly is not ok for any child to put there hands on anybody and be able to come back to school..that child should be expelled automatically. If i put my hands on someone i would go to jail…we need to show our kids what happens in the real world, that theres consequences to your actions.
This school is only great to those who are Caucasian. My son was made to walk laps an entire recess session because a teacher assumed he said she was the oldest teacher there. Not only that she belittled him when he asked her for help by mocking a child with down syndrome. My son cried. The end of last school year he asked if he could hug her a decent she said no but hugged every white child in her class…. there is something good seriously wrong with that school and bervard county as a whole. He was bullied on the bus and called the N word several times. No one including the Titusville pd would do a y thing to help. I have notified the school board several times and have yet to hear from higher up to address these isssues.
